Dr. Arlo K. Allen, Jr. is the Founder and CEO of Sound and Motion LLC. Sound and Motion LLC is a Housing Station for Music, Arts, and Media. We have professional musicians, composers, and arrangers producing music specially designed to work in conjunction with audio-visual productions. His work includes film scoring, jingles, theatrical music background, easy-listening music, and the sounds of Jazz, Classical, Reggae, Gospel, Pop, and Rock. The style of music is unlimited; from Baroque (Sonata No3, Fugue-ish) to Contemporary (Tropicfest, Showroom, Ocala).

Dr. Allen is a 1982 graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. He also holds several degrees in Music, ,. Professor Arlo Allen is a multi-instrumentalist and has performed on 17 instruments or recored , not to mention he does vocals with almost as many styles. He boasts a full state-of-the-art digital recording studio and his services include Orchestration, Arranging, Lead Sheet, Charts, Sound Effects, Demos, and Soundtracks. TRAX, Voiceovers, Jingles, Full album/tape/CD production, and film-scoring, etc.

Sound and Motion LLC also offers vocal coaching [all styles] or instrumental lessons [woodwinds, brass, percussion, strings, organ, piano, keyboards, and ethnic instruments from most cultures.] As Arlo has the unique ability to teach RIGHT-BRAIN (Creative) dominated people and LEFT-BRAIN (Analytical) dominated people, you have a choice of mode of instruction. You can either learn Sight Reading and Theory or how to "Play by Ear" or a combination of both.

Presently managing his own recording studio and music school; he also conducts orchestras. Professor Allen has conducted the World Youth orchestra, the University of Maryland Orchestra, the Oral Roberts Orchestra, church orchestra Live Recordings, and much more. He has written two Gospel operas and several musical works such as; cantatas, spiritual hymns, vocal arrangements, classical compositions, and music more. Although he has experienced formal training, Dr.. Allen attributes his success, skills, and talent to the Holy Spirit for his inspiration to play. He is currently working on an album to be released in the near future and publishing his compositions and donating to colleges and universities for future composers to study

Professor Allen's aspiration is to form a spirit-filled 150-piece orchestra with musicians using music as a sounding board to perform and to expose their talents and inspirational musicians worldwide.

Professor Allen is partnered with his lovely wife Shontese, Executive Director and President of Sound and Motion LLC.
